(Ayrault Road Location) o SHARPEN YOUR TECHNIQUE o BRING A FRIEND o LEARN TO TRAIN LIKE THE PRO’S o BE PREPARED TO LIFT o SATURDAY JUNE 7TH 11 AM – 1 PM “POWER CLEANS” o SATURDAY JUNE 14TH 11 AM – 1 PM “SQUATS” ------------------ **Our program is unique and not duplicated in the rochester area in 2 distinct principles and disciplines: First– All athletes entering the program undergo a comprehensive "Athletic Screening and Profile" designed to assess both quantity and quality of movement. Typically other programs test only quantity of movement. Joint mobility and stability are evaluated throughout the body through a series of reliable and valid functional tests administered by a Physical Therapist. Based on the results of these tests, specific corrective exercises are incorporated into six introductory Sports Performance Training sessions.
Second– At the core of our program are the Olympic lifts along with assistive and accessory exercises. Research has clearly demonstrated that these movements require the greatest power output known to man. Proper technique and explosive movements train the nervous system and maximize muscle activation, which results in higher power production. These lifts have the greatest carry-over to prepare and enhance performance for many sports and are among the safest exercises in the gym. When combined with agility, balance, plyometric, ballistic and flexibility training, explosive power is the result. A re-evaluation is conducted at completion of the six sessions and an individually designed program is created based on the progress demonstrated to date.
